PhotoRejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment that can correct a variety of benign skin conditions, skin imperfections, and signs of sun damage and aging without disruption of the skin's surface, thus there is no "down-time". PhotoRejuvenation treatments can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type to produce smoother, younger, healthier looking skin. Photorejuvenation can work effectively on all skin types.

During PhotoRejuvenation treatments a cold gel is usually applied to the skin. Then pulses of light are gently applied to the skin. You may feel a slight stinging sensation, like an elastic band snap. The light targets the brown pigments, the dilated vessels, and tightens collagen thus correcting a wide variety of facial imperfections. Often, a series of 5-6 treatment sessions are recommended to achieve excellent, long-term results, with minimal side effects, and high patient satisfaction.

After each treatment, the skin may be slightly flushed or lightly red, and this generally fades within a few hours. Brown pigmented spots may appear slightly darker after the initial few treatments, but this darkening usually fades over 1-2 weeks. There is no down-time with PhotoRejuvenation, and patients can resume all regular activities immediately. Makeup can be applied right after treatment, and patients are able to return to work the same day.

PhotoRejuvenation treatments are often combined with microdermabrasion treatments to enhance the light penetration and effectiveness in creating smoother, fresher, healthier looking skin.
