BOTOX Cosmetic™ treatments are simple and quick, taking only a few minutes. A small amount of BOTOX® CosmeticTM is injected with a tiny needle into specific muscles in the face. There is very little discomfort associated with the procedure. The effects are noticeable within 3 to 7 days. The result is a very natural, more relaxed, refreshed and youthful look. The effects of BOTOX® will wear off within 3 to 5 months and repeat injections are done as the muscles become active again.

BOTOX® is extremely safe. BOTOX® injections have been used for over two decades in the treatment of ophthalmic disorders. Over the last few years BOTOX® has been approved for cosmetic use, as well as many other medical conditions. Side effects of BOTOX Cosmetic™ are minimal if done by a properly trained physician. Bruising, redness, and mild tenderness may uncommonly occur at the injection site. Slight, subtle lowering of the eyebrow or drooping of the eyelid is especially rare, but is temporary and reverses quickly. There have been no known reports of permanent side effects with BOTOX®.
